Can this be transitioned to a lefty shooter? Can the brace fold to the shooter’s left side? Can the brace be used in the holster on the left hip? Is there a left side optic mount?

We do not have a left-handed configuration for our stabilizer kits at this time.

Will the 16 inch carbine conversion kit work with the 20/21 stabilizer and Glock 20?

Our carbine conversion kit is only compatible with the 20/20 stabilizer kit. At the moment, we don't have any immediate plans for other models, but if that changes, we will announce it via email.

No brace for Gen 1 Model 20

Yes, the 20/21 Stabilizer Kit is not compatible with the Glock 20 Gen 1.

Will this fit a Gen 4 Glock 30 (thick slide/frame)?

I have a new Glock model 40 generation 4 MOS 10mm. Will your 20/21B with the Cheek Rest for 20 Series Stabilizers w/ Free Buttstock Extension (BE20 must come bundled together with the CR20) allow me to use my mounted Holosun model 507 Comp? I’ve read where some users with optics have done a work around modification to the supplied charging handle when there was interference between the optic and charging handle. I need to be able to use the optic I have mounted and sighted in. Also if there is any rubbing between the slide and the pistol mounting can a work around also be done there to provide clearance, just enough to prevent contact with the slide. Hi Rob, in many cases the bundled charging handle is not compatible when a red dot is also mounted. It's possible that you can make it work with a modification - but most users simply use the red dot as a charging handle. It is a setup common to many Recover brace setups. With correct installation, there will be no rubbing between the charging handle/slide and the frame.

The last option is Choose Version: Stock or Brace. What is the difference there?

They are very similar. The "brace" has a strap attached to the stock end and it is curved to enable the comfortable insertion of your arm into the strap. It is not intended to be shouldered. The stock version is straight on the stock end, has no strap and is intended to be shouldered. Is the charging handle the only caveat for the g41? And does it fit the g41 gen5? Thanks!

The default included charging handle doesn't fit a G41 so if you do have a G41, we send a different charging handle that is compatible. And yes, it is compatible with G41 Gen5

I have a gen 2 g20 10mm bought new in 1994. Looked at the chart but did not see anything about early gen modelS.

20/21 is not compatible with Gen 2. This is what we have compatible with your exact model.

Will this fit the new large frame Gen 5s that have recently come out? The G20/21 MOS Gen 5?

Will this fit a Glock 34

This model is not, but the 20/20N Stabilizer & P-IX are compatible with Glock 34.

Which option should I select if I have a Glock 40 gen 4 mos? B, S, H, Or MG?

Any of them will work. They all use the same base unit and are all compatible with Glock 40 Gen4 MOS. The only difference between the units is what comes bundled along with the Stabilizer itself. Will my glass breaker from my Glock 19 kit and my side rail fit the 10 mm kit and also my angled front holder

They will both fit - but the MG9 angled mag pouch can't hold 10mm mags. You will need the MG45 for that (or the 20/21 MG kit).

Will this fit Glock 22?

For the Glock 22, you will need the 20/20N found here.

Can you run an optic with this kit?

Sure, just add the UR21 Upper Rail. You'll see the add-on after adding this to cart and proceeding to cart or checkout.

Why will this not fit a PF45? Is it the trigger guard geometry? Would the 1911version possibly fit?

There are myriad little details that ensure compatibility. We don't recommend using any of our kits with guns we do not list as compatible.

My G26 fits fine in my 20/20, would the G29 work the same in the 20/21 variant?

G29 will not work in the 20/21 variant. G29SF does fit in the 20/20N

Will this fit my Glock 20 gen 5?

It will not. For G20, it will only fit Gen 3 & 4 (see the fit chart tab for a full list)

Do you have weights listed for each config somewhere?

If I’m going with a p80 10mm would this work on those frames? Because obviously the p80 frame offered on this site is for smaller 9mm models. I want to get a brace for my larger framed 3rd gen p8p Glock, but not if this doesn’t fit.

This is designed and tested to fit OEM Glock only.

What model of any will fit a gen 5 Glock 22?

The 20/20N is compatible with G22. However, the GEN 5 slide is not compatible with the bundled charging handle. Since the Stabilizer frame covers the slide grips, you will need an alternate way to rack the slide like an RMR or some other solution. If you have a GEN 5 slide and an alternate way to rack the slide, you can use the 20/20N.

I have a Glock 21 with a factory picatinny rail. Will this still work?

Why does the compatibility list lists glock 29 gen 3,4 and 5, but a response to a question says it doesn’t… also why would it not fit Glock 30 when they are virtually the same size

If the Glock 29 is listed on the compatibility table, that means we’ve tested and confirmed it for that specific model. As for the Glock 30, if your pistol has a rail, it should be compatible with the 20/21 Stabilizer Kit.

I have a G40 gen 4 MOS will any optics work with this system

Yes, if it’s a slide-mounted optic, it should work—just note that you won’t be able to use the included charging handle. Instead, you can rack the slide using the optic itself.

If you add the Upper Rail, then any 1913/Picatinny-compatible optic will fit.

Are the brace and stock the same length, angles, dimensions? Does the buttstock extension work on the brace? Does the cheek rest work on the brace? How much extra length does the BE add? Are the stock and brace interchangeable with each other?

Yes, they are the same length. The Buttstock Extension (BE) only works with a brace, while the Cheek Rest is compatible with both the stock and the brace. The BE adds about 1" to the length of pull (LOP). No, the kit does not come with an interchangeable stock or brace.

Will this work with my G20 Gen 5 MOS?Ive seen mixed answers.chart says it'll work with G21 Gen 5 MOS which I thought were pretty much identical in size other than caliber.

The G20 Gen 5 MOS will work with the 20/21 Stabilizer kit. We've already added it to our compatible list.

20/21B – This is our basic kit, which includes the chassis and charging handle. 20/21MG – This is our fully kitted version, which includes the chassis, charging handle, holster, mag grip, and side rails for a complete setup.

This is a well engineered product. With my accessories I had to do a little clearancing for my optics buttons but that’s it. This is an awesome product and definitely extends the range of the platform.

Was very impressed with the quality and functionality of the stabilizer. Especially for the price. I did purchase all the attachments for it. I have a gen 5 Glock 21mos with a KKM compensator and it worked perfectly paired with my holosun red dot. I would highly recommend it with the Glock 21 since you aint gonna conceal carry it anyway. Give yourself some extra stability with such a large caliber. And love the tactical look with the black and tan

Pretty impressed with both stabilizers. Ive purchased both the 20/20 and 20/21. Hands down the 20/20 is a better fit for the pistol. Fits snug and no wobble. The 20/21 is kinda loose fitting, would have been nice to see a better fit. Currently im using a Gen 4 Glock 21 chambered in .460 Rowland. It worked great other than the flex created from the back not being cupped in fully. There's a small gap that allows play. The optic mount for both would almost be better in aluminum. Hot to cold can change your zero ever so slightly from my few outings. The 20/20 when folded stays tight to the frame, but the 20/21 pops loose and swings out from out of the box new. Could be better. I'd give the 20/20 4.5 stars and the 20/21 at least for heavier calibers a 3.9 stars. I recommend both for sure though this is an awesome fun platform with cool features. Could only imagine these being even cooler with improvements.

Best affordable conversion for a large frame glock, my only complaint is it feels like you need every accessory to have a complete system; i bought the low end basic frame and i would say if you can save the money just get the whole system. Otherwise its impossible to use the standard size iron sights with the cheekrest and buttstock and the stock itself tends to bend if you try to shoulder it real nice and tight. Aside from minor flashing blemish, its a peacekeepers pocket rifle!

I like everything about the design of it. I modified the low profile charging handle to be able to keep my red dot where it was. The only complaint I have is that when you try to fold the arm brace, the plastic piece supposed to hold it in place does not do it’s job, the arm brace pretty much just swings if you don’t have it locked in place.

The 20/21 Brace turns your pistol into a carbine. All of the other Range Officers who fired the system were impressed by the ease of accurate shots and the ability to hit targets beyond normal pistol ranges. All, commented the red dot rail needs to be attached to both sides of the brace for stability. Great product!
