Customer Questions and Answers
41 questions from customers
Will a micro comp/thread protector work with the GB20?
Will the top rail be able to be mounted on the side, if say I didn't want to use it for a red dot, but I wanted to mount a light?
That setup is not possible using the top rail alone; you will need the side rails to complete that configuration.
Are the slots on the side MLOK compatible?
No, they are not MLok compatible.
Will this mount to the S Pro brace?
No, this is not compatible with the S-Pro.
What is he Height over Bore with the optic rail installed?
The height over the bore would be around 20 mm to 25 mm.
Will this work with an added compensator?
Will it be high enough for suppressor height sights to clear the inside of it? And will it be directly center. Having problems with the other options and always shooting way to the right like the other options is to the right more.
Yes, it could work, but that would depend on the suppressor sight height. We've seen some of our customers using suppressor sights successfully. Feel free to test it out and let us know how it works for you!
Will this work with 20/20N 43?
Yes
1) Does this " glass breaker' / red dot sight mount combo replace an earlier version of a red dot sight mount that many video reviews show? I have watched many review videos of the brace and no one mentions a "glass breaker" attachment. and 2) you can't use the holster if it's installed on the brace so there is no point in buying the brace package that includes the holster if you want to mount a red dot sight on the brace?
This would replace the UR20 upper rail which is what you saw in those videos. You can't use the holster with the GB20 Glas Breaker mounted. That's correct. However, you can use the 20/20N with the UR20 mounted with a red dot and the holster. You can also mount some red dots directly on your slide and skip the upper rail. Personally, I prefer carrying the 20/20 with a shoulder strap so it was an easy choice for me to add the GB20 Glass Breaker.
What size is the long screw used to secure the GB20 to the 20/20 brace? Looking to replace with a thumbscrew as the M6 Thumb Screw GB835 30mm I used before does not fit. Thanks!

I had the other plastic mount on my 1st recover brace. That felt flimsy and certainly nothing id do serious things with. This however is legit and it hold zero. Id do serious (legal) things with this

It looks and feels great but sadly it prevents me from using my Obsidian 9 suppressor with a Glock 17.

The bottom crew which help attached to the conversion kit using a smaller crew. This tweak is very clever. I like this innovation. The top rail has only 1 crew hole. I wish it has 2 crews because I am trying to attach this kit under my AR15 barrel.

The Recover Tactical 20/20 Series GB20 Glass Breaker w/ Optic Mount Attachment is byfar the best attachment that you could add to your 20/20 the quality material is built to last.

This fixes the only problem I had with my setup by putting a strong solid even sight rail supported on both sides. Turned a cool gizmo into a legit weapon upgrade.

I know everyone wants the new drop on AR looking gizmo and great if you want it. But for portability accuracy and just weight reduction. This is the ticket!

This has a perfect fitment and weight. Easily the best accessory you can add to your brace. Looks very sharp and will definitely do what it's designed for. Well worth the wait!
