Once I got it attached it worked perfectly. However, it was really difficult for me to attach. The manufacturer needs to realize that many order this because they have dexterity issues. I ended up stuffing paper in the nut side to hold the nut in place. It would have been easier to install with a removable piece of plastic (plunger) with a thumb rest to hold the nut in place while threading the bolt on the other side. A rubber band would help to hold the device on the slide while installing. I usually don’t do reviews, but this took so LONG to put in a simple bolt, I needed to share my experience. Now it’s on, I am sure it will be great.

The charging handle works great with the added bonus of the back of it makes it easy to acquire the sights quickly.

I somehow ordered the wrong charging assist for my shield Plus.. the people at recover tactical were nice enough to send me the correct part. I installed the piece and it’s so much easier for my old hand to rack my gun.. now I’ll get optics for it. Thanks Mike at recover tactical

I added this to my slide because I have a Red Dot mounted. Makes it easy to rack your slide without touching your optic. Great addition to my gun.

I am right handed. I have arthritis issues in my left hand, making it difficult and slow to rack the slide. After installing this, I can rack the slide quickly and easily. This product is fantastic!
