I bought a rail adapter for my glock 27 and I also bought a tlr 7x light but the keys won't fir will this key make the light fit

I purchased a Recover Tactical Rail for a 43X (NON MOS). I attempted to install at TLR7SUB and it will not clamp onto the recover rail. The rail is too wide and the light clamp is not wide enough. In addition, a key is needed other than the one provided in order for the light to fully seat into the rail. Is there a way to work around this?

When using the SHR9 rail with the Streamlight TLR-7 or TLR-8 (along with the proper key from Recover Tactical), do the clamps of the light fully attach to the rail, or is there any gap between the clamps and the rail itself?

The light should be fully attached to the rail. If there’s a slight gap, it is within spec and nothing to worry about. It should still function securely and as intended.

If I buy this item, would I still need the TLR-7 Sub for the 1911, or could I use it with a Glock or Hellcat and replace it with the part you sell?

I have a Glock 29 and just ordered the GR30 rail. I'm looking to run the Streamlight 7 or 8 sub. Does this key work or is there a different key for that pistol. I don't see the Glock 29 listed.

The TLR8 and TLR8 Sub use different keys, so they are not interchangeable.

Do you mean the key for TLR-7 sub? If yes, you do not need the key for Olight. The Olight will work on any of our rails without a key

Technically, this would be installed on Recover Compact Rail for Glock43X - the GR43. It slides onto the rail adapter.

Thanks. I was able to use the TLR 7 sub (1913 version) on a Recover Tactical Full Rail for a G48. No need to buy the key.

The key is only needed for Compact Rails. Our full size rails do not need the key to be compatible. I got that wrong. I will be correcting that now. Sorry.
